Senator Jim Nielsen (R-Tehama) released the following statement following the mass shooting in Las Vegas:

“Marilyn and I are heartbroken over the massacre in Las Vegas. We are fervently praying for the victims and their families.

“We are all grieving about this tragedy from the bottom of our hearts.

“This individual’s behavior does not speak for America or what we stand for.

“It is a reminder of the greatness of our country and her people that we stand together in unity when confronted with such evil acts.”
