Nielsen Earns Perfect Rating from California Chamber Of Commerce

Tuesday, October 26, 2010

Assemblyman Jim Nielsen (R-Gerber) announced today that he was awarded a perfect score by the California Chamber of Commerce.  The score is based on how State Legislators cast their votes on 17 bills that could create or kills jobs in California this year.

"I am proud to be honored by the California Chamber," stated Nielsen.  "The California Chamber shares the same vision I have for California, which is making our state business-friendly once again.  Every year, many Legislators continue to author bills that add more harmful regulations, kill jobs and drive businesses to neighboring states.  This is unacceptable to me.  One of my highest priorities has been and will remain to curb the powers of the bureaucracy, restrain excessive regulations, reform the regulatory process and put the brakes on new taxes and fees."

The California Chamber of Commerce is the largest advocate in California for small and large businesses.  Its mission is to advocate on behalf of the employers of California, enhance the California economy, and make California a better place to live, work, and do business.
